Where we are

The Farmhouse Il Rigo is located between San Quirico d'Orcia and Bagno Vignoni (hot thermal springs), on the ancient Francigena way, the main road to Rome in medieval times. We are in the heart of Tuscany, in the Natural-Artistic Park of Valdorcia. We are near Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano. Siena is 40 km away.

Coming from the North

Take the "A1 - Autostrada del sole" highway until "Firenze-Certosa" and then the dual carriageway to Siena.

In Siena, take the "Siena sud" exit ,"SS 2 - Cassia", direction Rome.

After S. Quirico d'Orcia ( 40 km from Siena ) turn left on to a dirt road where "Il Rigo" is signposted, just 2 Km after the village.

Coming from the South

Take the A1 –“ Autostrada del sole” highway until Chiusi and then follow the road to Chianciano. In Chianciano follow the signs to Montepulciano and then Pienza.

Continue towards S. Quirico, 3,5 km after Pienza "Il Rigo" is signposted to the left, along a dirt track 4 Km long.
