Easter means spring, and spring in Val d’Orcia means the first vegetables from the garden, wild herbs from the fields, eggs from our hens, the freshest sheep’s ricotta and, of course, flowers.
For these festive days we have prepared two menus, balancing tradition with a curiosity for new flavors.
The choice of ingredients is essential in our cooking and we hope you will enjoy the simple luxury of tasting wild salads and herbs gathered in the fields around Il Rigo, organic cheeses, and our homemade pasta prepared with flour from our own farm.
The table will be brightened with fresh flowers that we grow in the vegetable garden, among zucchini and chard.
